I moved to Florida this weekend! Crazy I know~ But I'm getting married here and this is going to be my new home. I am excited to be back in the South, in the warmth and friendliness... and even more excited to be able to live near my fiance' Travis. He is amazing. I love him so much. I can't even begin to tell you how I feel about him. I feel every emotion all at the same time.  Life is crazy though. I need to finish my wedding invitations, I am starting a new job on Saturday, I am looking for a new job at the same time--one that will actually pay the bills...and finishing the planning of our wedding... meet with photographer, caterer, order flowers, etc. etc. The list is quite long, but at the end of it, we are married with a cute little home, Travis starting flight school and studying all hours of the day and me working, making things, cooking more meals than we should be eating...and most importantly loving and supporting my husband.
It's good.

It's Autumn now, time for fires, cold nights, hoodies, smores, cuddling, you name it...  If it's Fall related, I love it. So since last time I posted, I started dating an amazing man who is in love with the Lord, crazy about me, and such a blessing.  It's so exciting...and it makes Fall twice as good!  I have a job interview on Monday morning for a job here in Annapolis, so I can eliminate my morning commute that costs so much that it almost makes going to work a bad financial decision.  I love it here in Annapolis and plan on looking for a little apartment here sometime near January when I am on my feet.  So all exciting things...and that's it.

Last night, I laid outside wrapped up in a blanket on the dock, watching the stars, so at peace. The vast expanse spread out above me and it was beautiful. So beautiful.  Autumn is arriving so quickly.  It's 60 this morning, and beautiful. We are sleeping with the windows open now, so it is wonderful to wake up to birds and the fresh air.  I have the morning off, so I am kind of being lazy. I have to close at the museum tonight...then I think I am going fishing tomorrow night. I really want to. And then I have to work on Saturday and Sunday, which is a shame, because I like the church I attended last week and my weekends here are so adored. Oh well, life is good though. I really can't complain.  Ever since I moved in here, I never even want to leave the house.  If you came here, you would know why! Anyways, well I do have errands I best be getting to.

So I saw my first presidential motorcade today, as I was sipping tea, on my favorite park bench, in between the White House and the Corcoran.  I must say that it was pretty exciting!
I really like my job so far, not the most difficult thing in the world, but the people are really great!
I went to the opening of the Richard Avedon exhibition yesterday and that was wonderful.
I learned how to take the bus and that has made my life easier.
Today I had coffee with a friend from Tyler and we sat in Farragut Square and watched people...
Wow, there were some interesting ones! I can't tell you how interesting!
So, life is good. I have two more days of work and then relaxation finally. I can't wait to get back to Annapolis.
I think we're going sailing on Sunday, so I think it should be a fantastic weekend!

There is a colonial man in my new coffee shop, drinking diet coke out of a silver colonial cup.
He even has a very nice red feather in his hat!
Oh Annapolis!
